Basketball Recap: Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets vs. Jenkins Warriors
Southeast Bulloch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 79-10 loss at the hands of the Jenkins Warriors. Jenkins' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from I'Yarna Lee, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Lee is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Iycess Scott, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.
Southeast Bulloch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Jenkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
