After a string of seven wins dating back to last season, Ponderosa's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 10-1 to the Woodcreek Timberwolves. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bruins, who until this game were averaging 2.67 runs allowed.

Ponderosa saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Stiveson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. Maddox Chapman also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ponderosa fell to 5-1. As for Woodcreek, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

While Ponderosa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
