Football Recap: Quantico Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Fishburne Military

Quantico faced Fishburne Military in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Warriors lost 48-28 to the Caissons. The Warriors have struggled against the Caissons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ido Samish, who picked up 125 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Henry Davis was another key player, having thrown for 345 yards and three touchdowns.

Even if they lost, Quantico's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Dominic Sotelo was especially locked on to Fishburne Military's QB and sacked him twice.

Quantico's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Fishburne Military, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Quantico nor Fishburne Military have any future games scheduled.
