Baseball Recap: Somerset Tech Comes Up Short

The Somerset Tech Jaguars lost 11-2 to the J.P. Stevens Hawks on Wednesday. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Somerset Tech saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Russomanno, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Russomanno is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played.

Somerset Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for J.P. Stevens, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season.

Somerset Tech will challenge Morris County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for J.P. Stevens, they will take on Linden at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
