Softball Recap: Agoura Gets the Win

On Tuesday, the Agoura Chargers were able to grind out a solid victory over the El Segundo Eagles, taking the game 4-1.

Chaden Chatelain spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Amaya Del Olmo, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordy Charash, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The win got Agoura back to even at 1-1. As for El Segundo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Agoura will square off against Granada Hills Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for El Segundo, they will head out to face off against Mira Costa at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
