Worth County piles up the points against Berrien

Recap: Worth County Rams vs. Berrien Rebels

The Worth County Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Berrien at home to the tune of 80-45. The win was just what Worth County needed coming off of a 67-30 defeat in their prior matchup.

Worth County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jariah Williams led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of A?Mya Garmon, who scored 14 points along with six steals.

The victory got Worth County back to even at 8-8. As for Berrien, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worth County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Atkinson County at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th. Atkinson County will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. As for Berrien, they will head out on the road to face off against Jeff Davis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
