Basketball Recap: George School Takes a Loss

George School lost against Westtown back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The George School Cougars were outmatched by Westtown and fell 68-25. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

George School has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Westtown, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

George School will square off against Germantown Friends at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Germantown Friends' defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so George School's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Westtown, they will take on Perkiomen Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday. Westtown knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Perkiomen Valley likes a good challenge.
