Football Recap: Northern Cass Piles Up the Points Against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg/Finley-Sharon

Northern Cass never let their opponents score on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg/Finley-Sharon 32-0. The contest marked the Jaguars' most dominant win of the season.

It was another big night for Brooks Crockett, who rushed for 100 yards and two scores on only 13 carries, and also picked up 95 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 100 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Parker Zieske, who rushed for 105 yards and one TD on only 13 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northern Cass was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 259 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Northern Cass didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Brody Zieske.

The victory (which was Northern Cass' third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.7 points on average over those games. As for Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg/Finley-Sharon, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
