Soccer Game Preview: Marcos de Niza vs. Mohave

The Marcos de Niza Padres are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will square off against the Mohave Thunderbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Marcos de Niza fell victim to Coconino and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-0. The Padres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Mohave was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor St. Mary's could gain the upper hand last Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Parker Whelan and Santiago Ruezga scored all three of Mohave's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

With that draw, Mohave's record moves to 0-1-1. As for Marcos de Niza, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
