Soccer Game Preview: Northridge vs. Johnstown-Monroe

The Northridge Vikings will head out to square off against the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Northridge will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Northridge hadn't beaten Watkins Memorial on the road since September 28, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Warriors. That's two games straight that Northridge have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Johnstown-Monroe narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Highland 3-2.

Northridge's win bumped their record up to 8-5-2. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.
