Volleyball Game Preview: Owyhee Storm vs. Timberline Wolves + How To Watch

The Owyhee Storm will square off against the Timberline Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Owyhee needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight matches and they got it from Bella Hordemann. The Storm walked away with a 3-1 win over Mountain View on Thursday thanks in part to Hordemann, who had 24 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Owyhee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-9, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Timberline got the win against Centennial on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Timberline never let Centennial on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-15.

Timberline's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Owyhee, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Everything went Owyhee's way against Timberline in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Owyhee made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Storm repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
