After losing to Veterans Memorial the last time they met, New Braunfels decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The New Braunfels Unicorns secured a 57-51 W over the Veterans Memorial Patriots on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Unicorns.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeausean Jones, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Jones a new career-high in boards. Jamichael Moore was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

New Braunfels is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Veterans Memorial, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-12.

New Braunfels didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-56 win against Smithson Valley on the 24th. Veterans Memorial has also already played their next game, a 60-52 defeat against Wagner on the 24th.
