Melrose came tearing into Thursday's match with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Floyd Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in October.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Melrose took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-3.

Their offense was headlined by Braylan Morgan and Caydance Potocki, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Kailey Jackson and her 15 assists. Hally Draper controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Melrose's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Floyd, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

As of now, neither Melrose nor the Broncos have any future games scheduled.
