Soccer Recap: Leto Takes a Loss

Leto lost against Hillsborough back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Leto Falcons came up short against the Hillsborough Terriers, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly six goals.

Leto's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hillsborough, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Leto will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brandon at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Leto is facing Brandon at the right time seeing as Brandon is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Hillsborough will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Gaither at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Hillsborough is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
