Solon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wadsworth Grizzlies. That's two games straight that Solon have won by just one goal.

Solon's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Wadsworth, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7-3.

Solon and Wadsworth should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Comets will challenge Cuyahoga Falls at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st with a big rank advantage (51 vs. 413). Meanwhile, Wadsworth (ranked 95th) will meet Hoover (ranked 263rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
