Polson extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Aleysia Black. The Pirates came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Whitefish Bulldogs with plenty of help from Black, who had 32 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Polson took Whitefish into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15, 15-25, 16-25, 15-7.

Polson found their leader in sophomore Black, who had 32 digs and five aces. Peyton Wirz also set a new season-high mark in digs with 11.

Polson was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.

Polson's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Whitefish, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10-2.

Polson has already played their next contest (against Libby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Whitefish, they will head out to challenge Browning at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
