Bear River scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 45-34 to the Colfax Falcons. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Bear River's loss came despite strong showings from Sean Kinney and Jayden Brock. Kinney rushed for 85 yards and a pair of scores, while Brock threw for 135 yards and three TDs. Kinney also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.

Bear River's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Colfax, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Bear River will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Center at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Colfax, they will take on Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
