Football Game Preview: Jim Hill vs. Brandon

If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Brandon. They will square off against Jim Hill at 7:00 PM on Friday. Brandon is currently enjoying a seven-game winning streak and is looking to extend their dominance.

Brandon faced Oak Grove in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Brandon walked away with a 31-21 win over Oak Grove. Among those leading the charge for Brandon was senior Dallas Smith, who rushed for 142 yards and 1 touchdown. If you haven't heard Smith's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past six games.

Meanwhile, Jim Hill have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their matchup against Pearl last Friday making it six winless games in a row. Jim Hill were dealt a punishing 0-56 loss at the hands of Pearl.

Brandon's victory lifted them to 9-1 while Jim Hill's defeat dropped them down to 1-9. We'll find out if Brandon can add another positive mark to their record or if Jim Hill can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Brandon's step.
