Canyon is a perfect 10-0 against New Braunfels since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Canyon Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the New Braunfels Unicorns at 7:00 p.m. Canyon will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Alamo Heights on Saturday. Canyon put the hurt on Alamo Heights with a sharp 13-1 win. Considering the Cougars have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, New Braunfels owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. Everything went their way against Warren as New Braunfels made off with a 6-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Unicorns have posted since March 22, 2024.

Isabel Cruz was incredible, going a perfect3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Myer, who went a perfect3-for-3 with three doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Canyon pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.8 runs. As for New Braunfels, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Canyon took their win against New Braunfels in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 18-10. Does Canyon have another victory up their sleeve, or will New Braunfels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
