Bennington has gone 8-2 against Blair recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Badgers will take on the Bears at 7:30 p.m. Bennington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Bennington is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Gretna just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-3 to the Dragons. Kade Olbrich was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

He and Max Leight scored all three of Bennington's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Meanwhile, Blair faced Gretna East in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Bears fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 3-2.

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bennington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

Everything went Bennington's way against Blair in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, as Bennington made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Badgers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
