Soccer Game Preview: Daniel vs. Berea

The Daniel Lions are taking a road trip to take on the Berea Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Daniel faced off against Seneca last Thursday. Daniel never let Seneca get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Daniel's winning goal came courtesy of Harper Reynolds.

Meanwhile, Berea sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Pickens last Thursday.

The victory made it two in a row for Daniel and bumps their season record up to 3-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those two matches. As for Berea, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Daniel took their win against Berea when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Daniel since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
