Football Recap: West Genesee Comes Up Short

West Genesee's last matchup with Liverpool could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Warriors 51-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Warriors are ranked 26th).

West Genesee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Liverpool, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

As of now, neither West Genesee nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
