Softball Recap: Cypress Falls Comes Up Short

Cypress Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cy-Fair Bobcats, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 back in March.

Cypress Falls' loss dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Cy-Fair, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cypress Falls is set to take on their familiar foe Cypress Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cy-Fair will face off against rival Northbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
