Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Boston). Everything went their way against the Cathedral Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 17-8 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Jets as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

East Boston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Aiken, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

East Boston's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Cathedral, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4-1.

Coming up, East Boston will venture away from home to take on South Boston at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cathedral, they will host Maimonides at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
