Soccer Game Preview: Desert Oasis vs. Eldorado + How To Watch

The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks will venture away from home to challenge the Eldorado Firehawks at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Desert Oasis has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Desert Oasis is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Thursday, they were much more limited against Coronado on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Cougars. While losing is never fun, Desert Oasis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Coronado are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Eldorado's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Sierra Vista by a score of 3-2. Eldorado have struggled against Sierra Vista recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Desert Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Eldorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-2.

Desert Oasis might still be hurting after the 4-1 loss they got from Eldorado when the teams last played back in September. Can the Diamondbacks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
