Volleyball Recap: Seven Oaks Classical Takes a Loss

Seven Oaks Classical saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Vigo Vikings.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.

West Vigo found their leader in sophomore Sydney Macke, who had 13 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Macke. Camryn Funk also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Seven Oaks Classical's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West Vigo, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Seven Oaks Classical and West Vigo will both be playing Dugger Union the next time they take the court. The Firehawks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
