Basketball Game Preview: Wright City Wildcats vs. Montgomery County Wildcats

Wright City hasn't had much luck against Montgomery County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wright City Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Montgomery County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Wright City was beaten by Elsberry 63-33.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Montgomery County took on Bowling Green on Tuesday. Montgomery County strolled past Bowling Green with points to spare, taking the game 50-32. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Wright City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Montgomery County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Wright City was dealt a bruising 82-24 loss at the hands of Montgomery County in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Can Wright City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
