Volleyball Game Preview: Pueblo County Hornets vs. Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs

Pueblo County is a perfect 10-0 against Pueblo Centennial since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will welcome the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Pueblo County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Thursday, Pueblo County made easy work of Pueblo Central and carried off a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-20.

Pueblo County's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Noel Tapia, who had three digs and three aces, and Cylie Leonard, who had six digs and two aces. Tapia is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Meanwhile, Pueblo Centennial lost 3-0 to Pueblo East on Wednesday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-14.

Pueblo County's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Pueblo Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Everything went Pueblo County's way against Pueblo Centennial in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as Pueblo County made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
