Minnehaha Academy took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Breck, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Red Hawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 win over the Mustangs on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Red Hawks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Minnehaha Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Breck, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minnehaha Academy will challenge Perham at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Breck, they will square off against Providence Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
