The Clarkson/Leigh Patriots will face off against the Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Clarkson/Leigh put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-24 win over Madison. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won six in a row.

Wyatt Crosley was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns on only nine carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Matthies, who rushed for 139 yards and one score on only 11 carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Clarkson/Leigh was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 501 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Humphrey-Lindsay, as they earned their first away win of the season. They enjoyed a cozy 38-24 victory over Newman Grove/St. Edward on Friday. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 38-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.
Humphrey-Lindsay's win came from a few key players Clarkson/Leigh will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cash Hastreiter, who rushed for 122 yards and a pair of TDs. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 117 rushing yards. Layton Pospisil was another key player, rushing for 94 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries.
Clarkson/Leigh's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Clarkson/Leigh has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 280.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Humphrey-Lindsay struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 255 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Clarkson/Leigh took their victory against Humphrey-Lindsay in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 58-36 score. In that game, the Patriots amassed a halftime lead of 44-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
