Lexington lost to Alliance back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Minutemen walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The victory was some much needed relief for the Minutemen as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Sydney Reutlinger paced Lexington's offense, picking up six kills. Reutlinger got some help from Brynn Kaiser and her 12 assists. Hadlie Wolf and Josslyn Mins kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Alliance, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Lexington has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Northwest on the 2nd. As for Alliance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against O'Neill on the 30th.
