Basketball Recap: Pinecrest Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Valor Christian

Pinecrest Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Valor Christian Lions 55-19 on Thursday. The Paladins have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

The win was the 17th in a row (dating back to last season) for Valor Christian, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinecrest Academy will host North Georgia HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valor Christian, they will welcome St. John Bosco Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
