For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Nantucket and Monomoy have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Whalers fell 3-1 to the Sharks. The loss continues a trend for Nantucket in their meetings with Monomoy: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Assabet Valley RVT fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Keefe Tech on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 1-0.

Assabet Valley RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-5. As for Nantucket, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1.
