Basketball Recap: Olympic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through an 87-51 loss at the hands of the Myers Park Mustangs. The Trojans lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 68-58 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Olympic lost, don't look at Jaden Hardnett. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-10 to rack up 18 points. The matchup was Hardnett's third in a row with at least 16 points.

Olympic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Myers Park, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympic will challenge Corvian Community at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Myers Park, they will take on Mallard Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
