Eastside and Shawnee are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Tigers will square off against the Renegades at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastside's offense hasn't had much luck over their past three contests, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastside's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Winslow Township on Saturday. They took a blow against the Eagles, falling 50-0. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Eagles are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Shawnee made easy work of Pennsauken on Friday and carried off a 36-14 win.

Shawnee now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Eastside, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Eastside couldn't quite get it done against Shawnee when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 24-12. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Renegades' Cole Anderson, who rushed for 85 yards and one score, and also threw for 27 yards and one touchdown.
