Preview: Del Oro vs. McClatchy
The Del Oro Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the McClatchy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Del Oro's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so McClatchy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Last Monday, Del Oro was able to grind out a solid win over Granite Bay, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back wins for Del Oro.
They hit Granite Bay with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Kiana Faucette,
Leila Hawkins, and
Izzy Scott.
Meanwhile, McClatchy fell victim to River City's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 3-0 walloping at the hands of the Raiders.
Del Oro's victory bumped their record up to 8-1-6. As for McClatchy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-2.
