Basketball Recap: Bear Grass Charter Bears vs. Gates County Red Barons

After flying high against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech last Friday, Bear Grass Charter came back down to earth. The Bear Grass Charter Bears fell 58-50 to the Gates County Red Barons on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Bears, who until this game were averaging 24.29 points allowed.

Bear Grass Charter will try to stop Perquimans' six-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bear Grass Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season. Similarly, Gates County will try to stop Martin County's five-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
