Football Recap: Littlefield Falls Short of Childress in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Littlefield can now relate to. They were beaten by the Childress Bobcats 77-34 on Thursday. That makes it the first time this season the Wildcats have let down their home crowd.

Littlefield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sammy Saenz, who threw for 211 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 44 yards and one touchdown.

Lucian Davis went supernova For Childress., rushing for 146 yards and one score on only seven carries. Davis' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 140 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Littlefield suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 8-3. As for Childress, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
