New Albany hadn't beaten Ripley on the road since February 1, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Bulldogs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 62-35 victory over the Tigers. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 48-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had little chance of recovering from.

New Albany can attribute much of their success to Lynleigh Tatum, who went 6-for-15 on her way to 15 points and four steals. Arden Nanney also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steals of the season.

New Albany was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for New Albany and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Ripley, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, New Albany won't have much time to rest: their next game is against East Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
