Redington faced Houston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Huskies blew past the Hawks 40-20. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Redington and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points over those games. As for Houston, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Redington and Houston will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Huskies are set to take on their familiar foe Homer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Houston will square off against rival Kenai Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
