Baseball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Takes a Loss

After flying high against Goleman on Thursday, Archbishop Carroll came back down to earth. Archbishop Carroll lost 11-1 to Braddock on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Archbishop Carroll in their matchups with Braddock: they've now lost four in a row.

Archbishop Carroll saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JONATHAN DIAZ, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That double was DIAZ's first of the season.

Archbishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Braddock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will welcome Ransom Everglades at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Braddock, they will take on Varela at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
