Football Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-West Hendricks can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 45-14 loss at the hands of the Cascade Cadets. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cadets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Although Tri-West Hendricks took the loss, they still got scores from Jett Lawson and Jax Garver.

Cascade's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucas Farmer, who rushed for 156 yards and one score on only 13 carries, and also caught one TD. That's the most rushing yards Farmer has posted since back in August of 2024. Dayton Mink was another key back, rushing for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tri-West Hendricks' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Cascade, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Tri-West Hendricks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cascade, they will challenge Guerin Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cadets will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
