Mona Shores waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Fruitport Trojans. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win back in April.

Mona Shores had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Mona Shores' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Fruitport, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-25.

Looking ahead, Mona Shores will head out on the road to challenge Zeeland East at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fruitport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
