Basketball Recap: Zamarion Isom Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Columbia

York won the last time they faced Columbia and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars walked away with a 45-37 victory over the Capitals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

York's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zamarion Isom led the charge by going 6-for-15 en route to 15 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Peyton Lowery, who posted eight points.

York smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

York's record is now 3-1. As for Columbia, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, York will face off against Chester at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Columbia, they will challenge Richland Northeast at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
