Basketball Recap: Taos Tigers vs. Robertson Cardinals
Taos lost against Robertson back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Taos Tigers lost 78-54 to the Robertson Cardinals. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Despite the loss, Taos still got an impressive performance from Malakhai Ely, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Salazar, who posted four points and eight rebounds.

Taos' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Robertson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
Taos and Bernalillo will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bernalillo is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season. As for Robertson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 84-43 victory against Socorro on the 16th.
