Basketball Game Preview: Lisbon Panthers vs. Moultonborough Academy Panthers

The Lisbon Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Moultonborough Academy Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lisbon will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Lisbon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 34-27 to Profile on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Moultonborough Academy had to suffer through a 58-22 loss at the hands of Littleton. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Crusaders are ranked third).

This is the second loss in a row for Moultonborough Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Lisbon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Lisbon might still be hurting after the 38-12 defeat they got from Moultonborough Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Lisbon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
