Volleyball Recap: Wichita Christian Takes a Loss

Wichita Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on September 4th.

Wichita Christian was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Nazarene Christian Academy work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 29-27, 25-21.

Wichita Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wichita Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Victory Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Nazarene Christian Academy will face off against rival Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
