Columbia City is a perfect 4-0 against New Haven since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Columbia City is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Columbia City didn't have quite enough to beat Carroll and fell 3-2.

Columbia City took Carroll into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-27, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Meanwhile, New Haven lost 3-0 to Homestead on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

While New Haven ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

Columbia City's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for New Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Everything went Columbia City's way against New Haven in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Columbia City made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
