Baseball Recap: Morris Takes a Loss

Morris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Metro Christian Patriots. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Morris saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daton Andrews, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Morris' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Metro Christian, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

While Morris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
