Soccer Recap: Stratford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Despite a strong season so far, Stratford has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pomperaug Panthers. Stratford were not able to make up for their defeat to Pomperaug from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 5-2-1. As for Pomperaug, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stratford is set to square off against their familiar foe Bethel at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pomperaug will take on rival Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
